Dispute resolution procedure:
BH&W agrees to participate in alternative dispute resolution with consumers in accordance with the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (VSBG) in the event of disputes in connection with a legal advice relationship.
According to this, a consumer within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) is entitled to call upon the consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the VSBG for the purpose of conducting arbitration proceedings if he or she has previously addressed the complaint to BH&W. If no more than two months have passed since the disputed claim was asserted against BH&W and BH&W has neither acknowledged nor rejected the disputed claim during this period, BH&W may have the conciliation proceedings suspended for the remaining two months.
